Your new company

A school in South Gloucestershire are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team due to increased demand. This primary school pride themselves on their priority to children's learning Positions will be full-time to support alongside the class teacher where you will provide focused learning and plan and lead stimulating activities based around the EYFS.

Your new role

As an early years Teaching Assistant you will be a dedicated support recording progress of the pupils and liaising with parents and ensuring the children's health and safety at all times. Knowledge of working with the EYFS curriculum is essential due to the age ranges of the pupils you will be supporting. An enthusiastic and caring manner is necessary to support the pupils in the first year of their school life.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have specific school based experience in a Teaching Assistant job
  • Two previous long term placement references completed
  • It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
