Graduate Teaching Assistant - Bristol (BS5)
Are you an aspiring teacher? Our client is a teacher training school, who can enrol successful Teaching Assistants on to their School's Direct Teacher Training Programme.
- SEN Teaching assistant role
- £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience
- Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm
- Term time only
- Bristol - BS4
- A fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing teacher training the following year.
About the Graduate Teaching Assistant role
- Working with secondary aged children
- ASD (Autisum) or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs) support
- There are SEN children within each class and your role will be to support their individual needs.
- Working 1:1 with SEN students
The right candidate
- Graduates - particularly those who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology
- A strong background in Maths and English
- Enthusiastic and passionate about making a different in the lives of children with special educational needs
- Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour
- Looking to pursue a long term career in the education sector
