I'm working on behalf of a wonderful special school based in South Bristol that look after students aged 4 - 16 with a wide range of special needs & disabilities. The school are well established in the area having successfully supported families for a long time in Bristol.

The school pride themselves being a nurturing school that provides exceptional pastoral support to their students.

The role

The role is a KS2 SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant within a class of 8 pupils with SEMH, SLCN & ASD where you will be working alongside 2 other permanent TA's in the class. The role is mostly about providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 pastoral support outside of the classroom.

It is essential you feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and have experience of working in a school setting ideally. Due to the needs of the students you must be adaptable, positive, patient and committed to the betterment of every single students' lives.
