Do you have experience working with pupils with additional support needs? I am currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in a primary school in North Bristol. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanently for the right candidate.

Your new role

The SENCo at this Bristol primary school are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for this long-term job. You will be supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder in KS1 on a 1:1 basis within the class environment. This is a full-time Teaching Assistant job working with the pupil through their EHCP with the support of the SENCo.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have specific school-based experience in a Teaching Assistant job.
  • Two previous long-term placement references completed
  • It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent
