Your new schoolThis South Gloucestershire primary are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. The position is available on a long-term basis for the right person. For this Teaching Assistant job, they require a dedicated individual with experience working within schools supporting ASD. Your new roleWhilst working in this Teaching Assistant job, you will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis through the school day. There is a set timetable that you will follow whilst working through the EHCP. The day could be based within the classroom or out of class at a separate work station. You will keep daily and weekly reports on the progress of the child and report back to both the SENCo and the parents. What you'll need to succeed
- SEND experience is essential within a school setting.
- You will have specific school-based experience in a Teaching Assistant job.
- Two previous long term placement references completed
