Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience in preparation for teacher training?
A primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This full-time, one-year contract (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) focuses on supporting a KS2 class, with an emphasis on Numeracy and Literacy.
The Role:
- Support small groups and individual students in Numeracy and Literacy
- Assist the class teacher with classroom activities
- Encourage active student participation and engagement
- Help create engaging learning materials
- Provide general classroom support and monitor progress
- Foster students' social and emotional development
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Teaching Assistant Experience
- Graduate with a 2:1 or above
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong communication skills and creativity
- Located in Bristol or willing to relocate
