We are seeking a dedicated Primary HLTA to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and looking to make a significant impact in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will assist with classroom duties and provide support to students and teachers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding of the subject matter.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during non-class times, including lunch and recess.
  • Step in to lead the class during the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience as a HLTA or in a similar educational support role.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
