We are one of the market-leading agencies in the education sector and are currently actively recruiting for 1:1 Teaching Assistant jobs to assist with a rising demand for supply staff.Your new roleSummerhill Infants School requires a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant. They have 3 children with significant SEND needs who are generally supported outside the main classroom by 2 TAs, with some access to time in the class and with reception activities. The children are non-verbal and 1 requires intimate care. Working as a supply Teaching Assistant suits those who have a passion for working within a school and can be flexible and adaptable, due to the diversity of the schools we work with. We are currently looking for a TA who has a desire to work with children. This could be within a full classroom, or taking a small group to improve a core skill, for example, reading, or providing 1:1 care for an individual child with SEN.What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience working in primary education with children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or as a Volunteer i.e. within a youth organisation, sports coaching etc.What you'll get in returnThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in some excellent schools.
