Your new companyYour new school is a friendly primary school in North Somerset, location to be confirmed upon interview. The school has a supportive team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants that work in partnership to support the pupils in a friendly environment.

Your new roleAs a Teaching Assistant in this KS1 class, you will be supporting the teacher across the curriculum with innovative communication methods. You will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, preferably with experience supporting in KS1. You will be supporting the teacher with their lesson plans that are tailored and dependent on support requirements, inclusive of the educational needs of the pupils. As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working to monitor the progress of pupils, documenting and updating parents and team members when necessary.

What you'll need to succeedYou must have recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting and be passionate about working with SEND.
