Team Educate are recruiting for passionate teaching assistants who don't have qualifications but have a desire to work with children. Schools in Bristol are looking for teaching assistants to support their classrooms on a temporary basis, with the opportunity of extending to permanent for the right candidate.
The role involves working with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis or a small group supporting their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
A desirable teaching assistant must have:
· Excellent communication skills
· Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
· High expectations of the children in their care
The teaching assistant role includes:
· Providing 1:1 support
· Delivering group activities from the teachers planning
· Preparing and setting up resources
· Using your own initiative
· Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children
As a teaching assistant, you require:
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS - we can process one for you ready.
· 2 years of professional references
· A Right to Work documentation.
