THE OPPORTUNITY

Supporting the Commercial/sales function and office operations, you will play a crucial role ensuring the setting up and then supporting, the smooth running of jobs. Your responsibilities will include handling administrative tasks, coordinating communications with operational & internal teams, and maintaining accurate records. You will support the Commercial team, and the wider business ensuring efficiency, organisation, and adherence to project timelines and information flow.

Key Responsibilities - to be conducted in line with company best practice, process systems and procedures manuals.

KEY DUTIES

  1. Collating and setting up new orders
  2. Setting up survey packs for site measures and calculating approximate material quantities
  3. Coordinating surveys requested and returned to manage workflow for the commercial team
  4. Collating site measures and from these producing job packs detailing areas to be installed and material schedules for ordering (by others)
  5. Filing/Administration
  6. Daily checks of the commercial team voice message system, delivering messages when and where necessary
  7. Provide holiday cover for the Commercial Department when required
  8. Any additional tasks as requested by Commercial Director and more.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Strong attention to detail skills & an ability to maintain them whilst working under pressure
  2. Excellent organisational skills
  3. A sound commercial approach to problems and solving them
  4. Proficient in IT (especially Excel, preferably Callidus)
  5. Proven track record within contract and domestic flooring would be desirable
  6. Full clean UK Driving licence would be desirable
