Reed are working with a vibrant learning community in South Gloucestershire, is looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join our team. This role offers the chance to contribute to our outstanding science faculty, providing both technical and administrative support to enhance our students’ educational experience.

About the role

  • Work under the direction of the Senior Science Technician and Head of Faculty.
  • Provide technical support to the science department, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for students.
  • Manage the safe and secure storage of equipment within the department.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of materials and undertake basic record keeping.
  • Collaborate with a team of passionate technicians committed to student achievement.

About you

  • Possess excellent organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Friendly, with outstanding communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with students, peers, and colleagues across the trust.
  • Ideally, have knowledge of laboratory materials and equipment and their appropriate use.
