About the Role:

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs for projects across the water industry. The position involves working with major UK water companies, collaborating with contractors, and leading the electrical design aspects of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design process for water sector projects.
  • Perform technical and professional work activities to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Review and approve design work, including third-party proposals.


What Our Client is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working with water industry clients.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of CAD/Revit and BIM.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Preferred:

  • Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status (or working towards it).
  • Familiarity with BS7671 regulations.
