Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for Laboratory Test to work for one of our clients based in Filton, UK.

Join our dynamic Test Centre as an Electrical Design Engineer! You'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge architectures and specifications for data acquisition and control systems. This is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation, working on a new test facility and several new test benches focused on Hydrogen testing. You'll collaborate with a talented, multi-disciplinary team in Test Means Architecture & Integration.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate and Design: Develop architecture and design solutions for data acquisition and control systems.
- Create and Specify:Develop electrical component schematics and specify instrumentation for various measurements (Pressure, Flow, Voltage, Current, etc.).
- Document and Detail: Produce comprehensive requirement and specification documentation for data acquisition and control systems.
Skill Set:
- Essential Tools:Proficiency with Electrical Design Tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad).
- Core Knowledge:Strong understanding of electrical design principles, electrical systems, and testing principles.
- Experience:Proven experience with electrical architecture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems.
- Technical Expertise:Knowledge of avionic data busses (A429, CAN, AFDX) and avionic hardware interfaces (discretes, analogues).
- Team Player:Demonstrated team spirit and agility.
