Electrical Engineer - Building Services - Bristol

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? If so, my client would want you to join their Building Services team in Bristol!

Based in Bristol's Wapping Wharf, our clients office is ideally located amongst the local heritage and cultural amenities. Their welcoming and diverse team is working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Bristol, across the UK and around the world.

From cutting-edge manufacturing and industrial facilities like the Manufacturing Technology Centre to long-standing government and defence contracts such as Aspire Defence, and from award-winning education developments to major new residential communities, they are supporting schemes across a huge range of sectors.

As an Electrical Engineer you will be involved in a range of projects from small site surveys through to multi-million-pound schemes, with a varied workload you will need to exhibit the autonomy to work individually as well as reporting to and having the support of the project Associate or Director and other team members. You will provide support as part of a team in delivering projects effectively, whilst maintaining technical performance standards.

To fulfil this role, you will need to be degree qualified, or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent), demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across a variety of sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.

Our client now carries out their projects in the 3D environment and are rolling out StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While a detailed knowledge of this software is not a essential (training will be provided) an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
