Join my clients dynamic and innovative Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) department, which is split into two specialized teams: a Hands-on Test Team and a Project Consultancy Team.

As part of the EMC Project Team, you'll support product lifecycles from concept to disposal, ensuring robust EMC design and risk reduction strategies.

Role Overview:You will take ownership of key milestone deliverables, act as the EMC focal point for project teams, and develop strategies for successful product qualification.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Writing critical documentation such as Environmental Requirement Specifications (ERS), EMC Control Plans, and Proving Instructions.
  • Ensuring product designs meet EMC requirements through consultation, reviews, and hands-on testing.
  • Overseeing EMC qualification testing, ensuring evidence meets customer needs.
  • Resolving complex technical issues using analytical tools, working across functional and international boundaries.

What You'll Bring:

  • Essential:
  • Higher education or substantial experience in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of EMC design principles and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, professionalism, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work autonomously, meeting tight deadlines within budget constraints.
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of military EMC standards (e.g., Defence Standard 59-411, Mil-Std-461), AECTP500, Mil-Std-461, RTCA DO160 / EUROCAE ED-14).
  • Previous experience in EMC support for systems or equipment.

Note:

The successful candidate will be required to undergo and obtain UK Security Clearance.
