Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
•   Annual Salary: £34,070 - £36,342 per annum •   Location: Bristol area•   Job Type: Full-time / permÂ
We are looking for someone with a background within Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a company based within Bristol. We are looking for experienced Electricians with expertise in Electrical Testing and Inspection, particularly Fixed Wire Testing.Â
Day-to-day of the role:•   Conduct Inspecting & Testing on customer’s electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as needed.•   Complete all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing using our cloud-based certification software.•   Ensure all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:•   NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification.•   City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.•   City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.•   Proven experience in an electrical testing environment.•   Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts.•   Full UK Driving Licence•   IPAF 3a & 3b licence.•   Experience with Electrical installation/project work.•   Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.Â
