Mechanical Generator Engineer (Field Based)

Are you a Generator Engineer looking to join a market-leading collection of companies, working across the M4 corridor with plenty of overtime to boost your earnings, a company van, and a great benefits package?

On offer is a field-based role where you will be given a Company Van, Phone and Laptop, as well as the amazing opportunity to undertake training through an Engineering Giant.

This company supplies Power and Generator services to a variety of big-name clients and businesses such as Ministry of Defence, NHS, and BT. Due to ongoing growth and an ever increasing demand for work, they are now looking to expand their team with a Mobile Generator Engineer with a Mechanical bias.

Based out of their Bristol depot, this role covers the M4 corridor and surrounding areas. You would be performing planned maintenance work, diagnostics, testing, repairs and installations on a range of diesel generators, switchgear and control systems. This autonomous role is 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime at additional pay and an on-call rota that will earn you an additional £120/week when on-call.

This role would suit a Generator Engineer, looking for a field-based role withing a stable company where you have the opportunity to boost your earnings through overtime and develop your skillset with training.

The Role:

  • Maintenance, Repairs, Testing and Installation on Generators and all associated equipment.
  • Regional travel to Cardiff, Cheltenham, Bath, Oxford, Slough and based in Bristol.
  • Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm and overtime at additional pay.

The Person:

  • Generator Engineer or similar.
  • Mechanically biased.
  • Based in or near Bristol, happy to travel.
