We have an exciting opportunity to join our clients growing Building Services, consultancy, with a strong low-carbon focus - based in Bristol.Our client is an independent, award-winning consultancy with sustainability being at the core of all of their projects. There are strong opportunities available for career progression and development within this role.Working across many different sectors within Building Services Design, including:o Residentialo Commercialo Educationo Historico Leisureo ArtsOnce you become part of the team, you will have the responsibility of delivering high quality engineering designs for buildings from concept level to completion. You will be a key part of the team, client facing while having management responsibilities.Responsibilities:o Lead Electrical Engineers for multiple projects are varying stages.o Lead and supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D Design using systems such as AutoCAD/Revit.o Preparation of reports and specifications.o Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.o Supervising graduate and assistant engineers.o Client relationships management and business development.o Financial management of projects.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:o CEng – Charted membership of a professional institution or be working towards this.o BEng or MEng degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant subjecto Minimum 5 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildingso Knowledge and experience working on sustainable projects and be up to date with emerging technologies such as, photovoltaics and EV charging design.o Passion for sustainability.o Excellent communication skills and ability to support/train junior engineers.o Ability to lead projects, with a view for increasing management and leadership responsibilities.o Be strongly motivated.o Competent in design software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES or DialuxBenefits:o Salary £55,000 - £70,000o Performance related bonus scheme.o Support towards professional accreditation.o 25 Days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
