Renewables Engineer for our client, a leading plumbing and heating contractor with over 30 years of experience. Our client is one of the largest in the Southwest, serving major developers in the region. They take pride in delivering top-notch service to their new build clients, both private and social. We are looking to hire an experienced Renewables Engineer to expand, develop, and maintain our customer portfolio using alternative fuel for heating and hot water systems. A solid understanding of compliance in renewable service and maintenance is essential, along with excellent customer service skills to ensure repeat business. You will also need to provide relevant advice to help customers optimize their systems. Our client based in Bristol and they complete works along the M4 and M5 corridor.

Renewables Engineer Overview

  • Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on all types of renewable heating and hot water systems (ASHP, GSHP, and Solar Thermal).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Respect customers' properties and complete all work in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Serve as a company ambassador, demonstrating a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Working on social housing projects.
  • Happy to work on sites/projects in Bristol and along the M4/M5 corridor.

Renewables Engineer Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with heat-pumps and other renewable technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in servicing/commissioning, fault finding, and problem solving on heat pumps and other renewable technologies.
  • Familiarity with leading manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Vaillant, etc.
  • MCS knowledge.
  • F-Gas trained or prior experience (training provided if not).
  • Competent with electrics and hydraulics.

Renewables Engineer Remuneration

  • Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum DOE
  • Company van provided
