The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a passionate and dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Engineering team in either Cardiff or Bristol. The successful candidate will have strong design, technical, and sustainability skills, with a proven track record in multi-disciplinary building services design. This role involves taking responsibility for projects from inception to completion and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
Lead MEP teams on complex projects across various sectors.
Ensure technical standards are met and oversee project management, including financial performance.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professional to achieve integrated design solutions.
Engage with clients on fees, commercial aspects, and project scope.
Drive innovation in digital engineering and sustainable building solutions.
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.

Requirements
BSc in Mechanical, HVAC, or Building Services Engineering.
Extensive experience in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong leadership in managing teams and external consultants.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and future industry trends.
Ability to manage commercial aspects, including budgeting and resource planning.
