Electrical Calibration Technician/Engineer

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone with a background in calibration or electrical/electronic testing. Experience with pressure, temperature, or torque calibration would also be highly beneficial. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure that equipment is calibrated to industry and manufacturer standards while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Calibration of Electrical Test Equipment:
Perform calibration on electrical instruments according to industry and manufacturer standards, ensuring equipment accuracy and compliance.

Pressure, Temperature, and Torque Calibration:
Conduct calibration on a variety of instruments across pressure, temperature, and torque parameters, contributing to the multi-disciplinary team.

Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work as part of a dynamic and busy team, where contributions are valued and recognised. Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the laboratory and on customer sites, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Schedule:

  • Workweek: 36 hours per week
    • Monday to Thursday: 8 hours per day
    • Friday: 4 hours
    • Overtime: Available, with flexibility for additional hours

Requirements:

  • Experience: While calibration industry experience is preferred, candidates with a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering will also be considered.
  • Education:
    • Minimum qualification: ONC/OND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
    • Ideally: HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
