About the Role

We are seeking a Cable Routing Engineer to join our team on a Nuclear New Build project. In this role, you will design, develop, and review cable routing networks in compliance with UK regulations and nuclear standards, ensuring reliability and integrity in all deliverables.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce routing reports ensuring compliance with UK rules and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with layout teams to assess designs and resolve issues.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and mitigate risks related to routing.
  • Provide feedback on and support the use of routing software.
  • Deliver training on cable routing tools and regulations.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement activities.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in RCC-E electrical regulations and technical standards (e.g., NFC15-100, BS7671, IEC 60909).
  • Experience in the nuclear industry through education or professional work.
  • Knowledge of quality processes in industrial nuclear projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
