We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our Retrofit department within the Renewable Energy sector. This role requires travel to various sites and our office, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity for professional growth. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Carry out electrical installations, including ventilation systems, lighting, Solar PV Systems, and heating controls.
  • Maintain job timeframes and quality standards by working efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.
  • Deliver a high-quality service to clients and their customers, respecting all individuals and meeting challenges head-on.
  • Adhere to company procedures and industry standards, including the 18th Edition regulations.
  • Manage breakdown attendance and respond to urgent calls.
  • Install products and materials to the highest quality in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Order parts and manage jobs to ensure fast resolution to client issues or faults.
  • Clear jobs from handheld devices and back-office systems upon completion.
  • Liaise with residents and clients regarding works being undertaken.
  • Maintain all equipment and ensure it is calibrated and in good working order.
  • Stay up to date with all codes of practice involving your discipline.
  • Engage in staff briefings and company functions, contributing to team efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent in Electrical Systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • BPEC qualification or equivalent in the installation of Solar PV is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within the Social Housing sector.
  • Direct experience with residents and clients.
  • Clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
