Resourcing Group are actively recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to join our clients Commercial property services business completing call outs, reactive & planned maintenance around the Bristol, Bath and Somerset areas.

Mobile Electricians are required to work as part of a team or alone, to complete call outs, reactive & planned maintenance, project works and quoting for further works on a variety of sites. Engineers are to maintain high standards of workmanship & Health & Safety at all times and manage sub-contractors or engineers where required.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out PPM, reactive call outs or work on electric projects as required.
* Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times and attend toolbox talks/ training as required, following RAMs issued and completing risk assessments.
* Complete weekly time sheet and job reports/paperwork to client's standard, liaising with help desk or project manager over completion of jobs.
* Order materials and plan workload
* Co-ordinate sub-contractors to ensure tasks are completed to schedule.
* Assessing jobs and providing reports for further works or quotes.
* Any other reasonable tasks deemed necessary by Managers.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Fully qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Installation Part 1 and 2 (or equivalent) and Electrical inspection & testing certificate (essential)
* Trade qualifications (PASMA, IPAF, First Aid, Asbestos etc. - desired)
* Basic IT knowledge - able to use smart phones to update jobs and complete test certificates on IPAD
* No unspent criminal convictions, must complete DBS and be allowed to work around children/vulnerable adults
* Confident interpersonal / communication skills and able to adapt to clients' requirements
* Competent using a variety of hand and power tools
* Flexible approach to working and able to cover call outs from time to time
* Good organisational and time-management skills, able to manage workload
* Consistent and thorough in completion of paperwork

Package Offering

*JIB Rates applicable - 40,950 Per Year 2024

*Standard hours of work | 8am - 5pm

*Overtime Monday - Saturday to be paid at time and a half, Sunday to be paid at double time. If you work on a bank holiday, this is at double time, and you will also receive a day in lieu.

*We give all employees a staring float of 125.00 in their first wages. This will cover any time you have to use your own money for company purposes (e.g parking). This is deducted at the end of employment.

*Van + Fuel for business and personal use, as per the conditions in the contract of employment and signing the declaration.
