Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
* Annual Salary: 34,070 - 36,342 per annum
* Location: Bristol area
* Job Type: Full-time / perm
We are looking for someone with a background within Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a company based within Bristol. We are looking for experienced Electricians with expertise in Electrical Testing and Inspection, particularly Fixed Wire Testing.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct Inspecting & Testing on customer's electrical installations (EICR's) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as needed.
* Complete all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing using our cloud-based certification software.
* Ensure all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
* City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.
* Proven experience in an electrical testing environment.
* Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts.
* Full UK Driving Licence
* IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
* Experience with Electrical installation/project work.
* Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
