My client is a high voltage electrical engineering company who specialise in electrical power infrastructure, grid connections and renewable energy generation. They are on the lookout for an experienced HV Cable Jointer to join their team based in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities – HV Cable Jointer
- To carry out HV cable jointing and terminations on 11 kV and 33 kV (Experience on higher voltages desirable but not essential)
- To carry out earthing and cable installations
- To help electricians and other trades on larger installations
- Being able to take the role as Installation lead on projects, reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Assist with site breakdowns and investigative procedures
- Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications & Experience – HV Cable Jointer
- Experience of working on Construction sites
- Must hold JIB approved ECS card
- Experience working on Commercial & Industrial installations
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Right to work within the UK without limitation
