Salary 28 - 32,000 Bristol, BS5, permanent role, 33 rising to 36 days holiday (incl bank holidays), pension, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week 7.00am - 4pm Mon- Thurs, 7.00am - 1.00pm Friday

This specialist manufacturer in Bristol has an opportunity for a mechanical assembler person to join the team in a permanent role. The main functions of the role are to assist in the build wiring of electrical panels for specialist equipment.

mechanical assembler or mechanical fitter role will involve

* Performing mechanical fixing and assembly of equipment according to technical specifications

* Utilise various hand and power tools efficiently and safely to assemble and fix component assemblies

* Following engineering and technical drawings

* Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards

*Troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical or basic electrical wiring and connections issues onto equipment during the assembly process

* Communicate with the engineering team and colleagues to ensure efficient work flow to meet production targets

mechanical assembler or mechanical fitter requirements

* Proven experience in a hands-on role within a production or manufacturing environment and proficiency with hand and power tools.

* Previous production assembly build and fitting experience either bench work or workshop floor

* Either time served or with NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical or production related engineering.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Basic wiring or assembling to attach controllers or panels to equipment

* Good communication to work closely with the production team to ensure Safety Compliance adhering to all health and safety regulations

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
