About the Role
Take the next step in your career as a Principal Engineer in a leading team in Bristol. You’ll take full technical ownership of projects, leading the design and delivery of residential and commercial schemes while mentoring and guiding a talented engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take technical lead on complex infrastructure projects, providing expert advice to clients and developing innovative design solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring high standards, timely completion, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the preparation of fee proposals and project scopes, managing budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Mentor and support junior and senior engineers, fostering their professional development.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and Local Highway Authorities to ensure smooth project delivery and technical approvals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in highway design, junctions, roundabouts, and pavement design.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage teams, and drive business development.
  • Experience with S278, S38, and S104 technical approvals.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng) and ideally Chartered Engineer status (CEng).
