Role: Configuration Audit Engineer
Position: Contract
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset OR Aztec West, Bristol
Duration: 12 Months Rolling
Day Rate: 300 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // 405 p/d Umbrella
Are you a meticulous engineer with a passion for nuclear energy and large-scale infrastructure projects? We are seeking a Configuration Audit Engineer to join the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project - one of the most significant nuclear new-build developments in the UK.

As a Configuration Audit Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the As-Built information accurately reflects the Site Compliant Design, adhering to stringent nuclear safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Plant Configuration Audit Team, you will:
* Act as the go-to expert for configuration audit processes, supporting Engineering Managers and Design Entities
* Develop and implement Configuration Audit Strategies and Processes to ensure compliance across the project
* Conduct in-depth audits, reviewing engineering documentation and ensuring consistency with design requirements
* Author detailed audit reports, providing critical insights and ensuring non-conformances are addressed
* Coordinate end-to-end configuration audit activities, engaging with key stakeholders and managing resolutions
Candidate Profile & Background
* Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or extensive technical experience
* ICM CM2 certified or equivalent expertise in Configuration Management
* Strong nuclear industry experience, particularly in complex infrastructure projects
* Expertise in engineering documentation control, including Redline Drawings, Work Pack Management, As-Built Information, and Change Management
* Familiarity with PLM and document management tools (Switch 3DX, Teamcenter, etc.)
* Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with internal and external teams
