Energy Modeller

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established sustainability consultancy who work on a range of complex and innovative projects within the construction industry. They are on the lookout for an experienced energy modeller to join and help develop their energy team in their offices in Bristol.

Role responsibilities for an Energy Modeller include:

  • Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis to optimise building performance
  • Ensure projects are in compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by carrying out Part O assessments
  • Work alongside architects and engineers to ensure the best energy design strategies are put in place
  • Help improve client understanding of Part L and Part O
  • Provide sustainable solutions to clients to reduce their carbon footprint and mentor the more junior members of the team.

The ideal Energy Modeller will have:

  • Relevant experience within an energy or sustainability role within the construction industry
  • Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software when carrying out energy modelling
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations and legislations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
