Mobile Project Engineer (Field Engineer) 

  • Job Type: Full-time / Day rate contract
  • Location: Various high profile secure sites across the UK
  • Salary: £270 per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an established Field Engineer to join our team, working at high profile secure sites across the UK. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, as it sometimes may require work outside of core hours.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Conduct onsite installations, engage in project work, and provide break-fix solutions as directed by the Secure Engineering scheduling team.
  • Work with a range of equipment including but not limited to Fujitsu, Dell, HP, Juniper, and Cisco covering printers, PCs, laptops, switches, and other hardware.
  • Utilise experience from previous roles or knowledge of ATLAS and Global Connectivity contracts to enhance service delivery.
  • Record actions and report all required information back to the scheduling team accurately and promptly.
  • Travel to various locations as required and work independently, adhering to all documented processes and procedures within the secure engineering space.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • To hold SC / be eligible for DV & EDV level security clearance.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Break-fix and project installation experience.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
  • A flexible and willing approach to work.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adhere to strict processes and procedures.
