- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives
- Detailed cost breakdowns, covering labour, materials, equipment, and overheads
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to assess costs, risks, and resource needs
- Support pre-contract discussions and negotiations, acting as a key contributor in client meetings and tender reviews
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on pricing trends, material costs, and labor rates
- Identify and assess risks associated with project delivery, proposing mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate estimations
- For this role, you must have estimating experience with construction/civil engineering, scaffolding desirable
- Knowledge of scaffolding design, construction methodologies, and relevant UK safety regulations
- Construction related degree
- Qualification in temporary works coordination or scaffolding-specific certification would be an advantage
- IT literate including Microsoft 365, Excel, CDM
- Relevant driving licence
