An exciting opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Data Analyst to join my Clients team in Bristol. This hybrid role offers flexibility, allowing a combination of office-based and remote work.

Role Overview:

You play a crucial role in supporting my clients UK carbon reporting requirements, encompassing Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions.

You will work across a range of reporting frameworks, including Carbon Reduction Plans (CRP), Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), and the UK & EU Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS).

In this role, you will advance the use of data analytics software, enhance data recording processes, and implement robust reporting procedures, audit protocols and conduct compliance audits.

You will collaborate with a team of experienced EHS practitioners to generate environmental metrics and ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations.

A key part of your responsibilities will involve communication with diverse stakeholders and UK leadership, contributing to global and local sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Scope 1, 2, & 3 carbon and energy reporting (SECR, ESOS, CRP, UK & EU ETS).
  • Develop and optimize data collection, recording, and analytics processes.
  • Create and implement audit protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collect, manage, and analyse environmental data for reportable metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate regulatory reports and manage the UK/EU regulatory compliance calendar.
  • Support ISO 14001 and 45001 activities and incident investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Data Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Experience in carbon reporting and regulatory compliance is desirable.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into written procedures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
