A new opportunity for a recent graduate or junior geo-environmental engineer interested in expanding skills and experience in contaminated land and waste management has presented itself. This is an exciting opportunity for a geo-environmental engineer to join a highly established ground remediation team in Bristol. You'll become a specialist in soil remediation and waste management both on site and in treatment facilities and given the opportunity to work on a range of environmentally conscious and exciting projects.

The Assistant Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be:

  • Identifying and investigating the treatment and/or removal of contaminated land and groundwater.
  • Carrying out Phase 1 desktop studies.
  • Writing technical reports.
  • Carrying out risk assessments.
  • Contributing to soil and rock sampling.
  • Ground water and gas sampling.

To be considered for the Assistant Geo-Environmental Engineer position you must have at least some experience in the geoenvironmental/geotechnical/waste assessment/remediation industry, with a good foundation of knowledge. A good understanding of Phase I and Phase II site investigations is preferred and candidates must have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) in environmental science, physical geography, geology, earth sciences, geoscience or similar. A full right to work in the UK, a UK valid driving licence and living a commutable distance to Bristol is imperative.
