This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Destinations market.

About The Role:Days of Working: Variable and flexible shift Pattern.

Shift Pattern: Seven on four off, seven on three off.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that you are working within all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, and procedural requirements as required by the Company and its Client
  • Drive all vehicles in conjunction with the UK Road Traffic Act 1988 and Road Safety Act 2006
  • Ensure all issued PPE is worn correctly at all times, any issues with PPE report immediately to your line manager
  • Use of a mobile device supplied for recording work/patrols undertaken
  • Report defects/reactive jobs that could lead to an accident occurring
  • Use two-way radio equipment for communicating within the Control Room or site team
  • Carry out functions required within the site emergency management plan e.g. Fire Evacuation
  • Recognise areas where improvements can be made and inform the site supervisor/management Team aware

You will meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety standards in our industry
  • Enjoys working outside/inside
  • Able to function in adverse weather conditions
  • Able to use of machinery - jet washers, bailers & compactors, hand pallet pump trucks
  • Gain Forklift License - training will be provided.
  • Flexible to work on early & late shifts
