Robert Half are currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Administrator (part-time) to join a client in the Education sector based in East Bristol for period of up to circa 6 months. This role has the potential to become permanent. Free parking is available.

Role: Senior Administrator

Salary: £27,300 (Hourly rate equivalent & pro-rata to part-time hours)

Duration: Circa 6 months - Potentially to go permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 32 - 35 hours a week over 4 or 5 days a week, office based.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the "Head of" diary as required
  • Manage the diary of Senior Leadership Team members
  • Provide administrative support to "Head of", Senior Leadership Team" and Education Ops Manager as required
  • Be the point of contact for queries for other admin staff
  • Cover reception when necessary
  • Undertaking pre-employment checks including Safer Recruitment checks for all types of contracts and roles
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Single Central Record is kept up to date appropriately
  • To ensure the accurate recording, maintenance and updating of databases and filing systems and to ensure confidentiality
  • Assist in administration, events as and when required for the organisation

Skills/Experience needed:

  • Previous administration experience, supporting Senior Leadership or "Head of" department
  • Confident communicator
  • Experience working in Education Sector or public sector ideally
  • Experience working in an environment with high compliance standards
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to prioritise well
  • A positive, "can do" attitude
