Ecosurety are looking for an analytical and commercially astute finance analyst to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for internal reporting, management accounts, and budgeting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.
This role will be instrumental in driving business performance through insightful financial analysis and reporting. A key focus will be on leading the reporting and analysis of product and client profitability, ensuring strategic decision-making is underpinned by accurate financial data. Additionally, this role will be responsible for completing the monthly management accounts and leading the annual budgeting process. This position is ideal for a proactive finance professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and translating complex financial data into meaningful insights.

Job description
- Prepare and complete monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and providing variance analysis.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working with stakeholders to align financial plans with business objectives.
- Analyse product and client profitability, identifying trends and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain financial reports to track business performance and support decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with other teams across the organisation (Procurement, Clients Services, Data services, HR) to align financial operations with overall business goals and enhance cross-departmental efficiencies.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and weekly/monthly sales reconciliations.
- Support client services with account reconciliation and rebate modelling, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Person Specification
- Qualified(ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to analyse product and client profitability and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Strong commercial awareness, able to see wider impact of decisions across the business.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Advanced excel skills for modelling, sales reconciliations and manipulating large data sets.
- Honest and discreet, with the ability to keep information confidential.
- A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.

Package
- c£45k per year.
- Permanent contract, 8-hour day with flexibility.
