The Finance Analyst role involves providing financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting support to assist with overhead and customer support costs. You will work closely with your Finance Business Partner and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial oversight and provide insight into financial trends and variance

Description

  • Handle monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with cost centre managers.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial controls and General Ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain capital expenditure (capex) matrices and support business cases for key projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide clear financial insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Support financial decision-making by collecting, analysing, investigating and reporting financial data.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner Analyst should have:

  • Proactive individual with a background in accounting and finance.
  • Strong grasp of essential accounting principles, including debits, credits, and accruals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Part-qualified in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) with familiarity in finance software, preferably Oracle or similar.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy to provide exceptional service and insights to the team.
