The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Development function who are responsible for the successful and timely completion of all deliverable within the Finance Work stream plans including: requirements specification, validation and approval; CR specification, validation and approval; issue resolution and supporting business readiness and implementation activities.

You would be involved in large upcoming project to support with client change and standardisation across a variety of specialist areas to support their integration into our company.

You'll be:

  • Supporting the development of a finance-specific BaNCS/DG Oracle manual/framework identifying all client divergence's and the creation of a preferred finance set-up.
  • A subject-matter experience across all clients in one of the key process groups within finance.
  • Contributing to the development of each relevant suite of finance and accounting system requirements, ensuring these are unambiguous and clearly documented so that a non-finance specialist is able to understand them.
  • Applying appropriate analytic methods and techniques to shape and define business solutions, documenting them in accordance with agreed format and quality standards.
  • Supporting the interpretation of legislative and regulatory requirements and/or changes to assess the wider impact on finance processes and system solutions.

You should apply if you have:

  • Knowledge of financial services, including finance and accounting principles, practices and compliance requirements for the UK and Ireland.
  • A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem-solving, supported by strong interpersonal skills and confidence to select and apply relevant analytical and process engineering tools.
  • Ability to apply different techniques to resolve issues and analyse risk and impacts across a range of potential solutions.
  • Clear and effective verbal, written and presentation skills, providing a logical argument and ability to translate complex financial requirements to non-finance trained colleagues to inform and influence decision-makers.
