Duties will include:

  • Assess and underwrite loan applications
  • Assess and resolve risk or any issues with applications
  • Approve and reject applications in line with policy and mandate
  • Recommend loans to Head of Lending where they fall outside of mandate
  • Review valuation reports
  • Asses credit reports and ensure applications are verified
  • Liaise with brokers, borrowers and other professional partners

Previous experience of working in underwriting is essential. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a decisive decision maker and have excellent time management skills
