Flexible and hybrid working options, the autonomy to do things your own way, interesting clients and non-standard work assignments. Does this all sound too good to be true? Not if you go to work for my client, a very forward-thinking firm a well established and growing client base.
This company was an early adopter of hybrid working, and all of their team work predominantly from home, with occasional meetings held at their Bristol offices. As a consequence they require a candidate who can hit the ground running, with duties to include:
路 Acting as first point of call for your own portfolio of clients on day to day queries and working closely with the director on ad hoc technical tasks.
路 Undertaking all compliance tasks for clients including preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
路 Working semi autonomously in ensuring timely receipt of information and delivery of Accounts and Returns.
This role would suit an experienced AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified applicant or an active studier, with extensive experience in an accountancy practice environment. Most importantly, you will be able to act on your own initiative, communicate effectively with your clients and work well with a team of friendly and forward-thinking colleagues. Applicants should live within an easy commute of Bristol as the role will involve some office time and attending meetings at client premises.
