Finance Business Partner

Are you a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner looking to make a significant impact in a leading operations environment? I am working with a market leading manufacturing company in Bristol, looking for an experienced FBP to play a key role in shaping financial strategies for operations across the region.

What you'll do:

  • Align operational objectives with Group and Division strategic goals, ensuring a seamless link between financial and operational performance.
  • Manage and control costs by developing effective business cases and driving action at all leadership levels.
  • Collaborate with plant BPs during internal/external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented across the region.
  • Review and consolidate financial forecasts for plants, adhering to Group guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to lead Group/Division projects, ensuring proper implementation and identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide expert support to team members at plant, division, and group levels as the Subject Matter Expert on Group processes.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture by closely tracking weekly variances and anticipating monthly results.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify risks and implement corrective action plans.
  • Lead and manage a small team, nurturing their growth and development to drive success.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner within a manufacturing environment, particularly in complex organisations.
  • Strong people management skills, with a focus on developing and empowering your team.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and other financial systems.
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification (or equivalent).
  • A passion for driving operational excellence and contributing to strategic business decisions.
