The Role:
The Account Handler is the first point of contact for all client and provider queries and issues. You are expected to have the skills and knowledge to understand what actions are required to meet the expectations of all parties. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing office-based support to assigned Account Executives in the day-to-day running of the client portfolio, from New Business, MTA, and Renewal stages.
- Dealing with a range of general commercial policies, learning all steps of the process from quotation to placement through to renewal.
- Supporting across all executives, ensuring smooth operations and picking things up in others' stead when needed.
The Required Skills:
- Experience working in commercial insurance at a broker for a couple of years (minimum).
- Previous proven experience servicing a book of business is essential.
- Acturis experience is ideal.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and rapport-building skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of a range of commercial products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
