Finance Business Partner

Core3 are delighted to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a growing Technology business based in North Bristol. £50,000 - £55,000. Hybrid working environment.

How you'll make an impact

This Finance Business Partner role reports to the CFO and will provide accurate management information across the business. You will be relational and able to work with colleagues to help them with analysis for commercial decision making and turn complicated reports and analysis of data into something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing relevant and simplified management information reporting, which includes budget and forecast tracking and analysis of any variances
  • Prepare monthly company and group management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review of contract profitability, to ensure we can simply measure allocation of costs and labour resources and then measuring of profit per contract and loss spotting for corrective action
  • Lead Finance Objectives & Key Results project and ensure timely progression and completion
  • Management and assessment of pricing, benchmarking against market and RRP basis to ensure pricing levels in line with the marketplace on a regular basis.
  • Commercial input and modelling on new service/product viability with the CFO.
  • Debt recovery escalation
  • Ensuring that all agreements are completed, retained and accessible
  • Build and manage relationships with budget holders
  • Management of the supplier approval process which is sensible and aligned to business needs
  • First point of contact for financial audit
  • Provision of tender support to sales team
  • Strategic support
  • Supporting the development of SLAs for the finance function and analysis of achievement

  • Qualified accountant or Qualified by experience
  • Knowledge of finance and CRM information systems (SAP, Concur, Sage, ConnectWise, all office 365 applications including advanced user capability of Excel)
  • Proven experience of financial management and cashflow management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyse data
