Description

Joining a dynamic and fast-paced organisation, you will report to the Finance Manager and provide financial support and guidance to senior stakeholders across the business.

You will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual, working within a busy and collaborative Finance team.

Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting a business income stream across our UK & US operations, core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Preparation and analysis of month-end results, including succinct, informative commentary
  • Conduct regular operational meetings, to review and forecast financial performance
  • Work with operational staff to improve:
  • Group profitability
  • Policies and procedures
  • Understanding and use of Group ERP system
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with the group month-end timetable
  • Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues
  • Preparation of formal budgets and reforecasts for income stream
  • Providing weekly and monthly analysis to budget holders
  • Continued review and development of processes
  • ERP system support, development and maintenance

Profile

Professional experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years' experience in a relevant role
  • Strong experience in month-end accounts preparation, planning, budgeting & forecasting
  • Experience in producing insightful business analysis
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting large, complex data sets
  • Strong IT skills including advanced in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Power Query, SQL and BI would be advantageous
  • The ideal candidate would have experience in a multi-ledger organisation
