The Role

We are searching for a dynamic and visionary finance leader to join our client and play a pivotal role in maximising value creation, ensuring legal compliance, and managing risks to drive the business to new heights. In a hands-on role you will help shape the future, taking charge of the finance function, becoming the go-to expert for the Board on all financial matters. Key to the role is maintaining and strengthening the internal control environment and overseeing a standard costing system to ensure accurate material costing, and that prices are tracked efficiently. As part of the leadership team, you will also play a key role in developing and maintaining the strategic plan, budgeting, and forecasting allowing the business to make informed decisions that incorporate the key drivers.

The Candidate

As a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) you will have a successful track record in a manufacturing/engineering environment ideally within a high-growth SME business and a proficiency in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean management. With good planning and organisational skills, you will also have the ability to motivate and inspire staff, have a hands-on approach and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
