Finance Manager - Education, Skills and Inclusion

Salary: £56,089.00

Location: Bristol with 2-4 days a month onsite

About the Role: The Finance Manager for Education, Skills, and Inclusion will be responsible for supporting the provision of education services, schools, and associated transformation and capital projects. You will manage a team of Group Accountants, providing financial support for educational initiatives and working closely with senior members to make impactful financial decisions that align with the organisation's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial planning and forecasting for education services, schools, and transformation projects.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on financial matters related to education and inclusion.
  • Support the preparation of annual statements and ensure financial implications of new educational initiatives are properly analysed and reported.
  • Work closely with the Business Partner to support Executive Meetings and other committee responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant.
  • Experience analysing and presenting financial data to senior stakeholders within an educational or public sector environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving improvements in financial practices.
