We are delighted to be working on a retained basis with Ecosurety (http://www.ecosurety.com) to appoint a Finance Manager, a newly created role in their structure.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, and with direct line management of two team members, the purpose of this role is to lead the transactional finance team plus strengthening existing relationships with business teams. The role will also be responsible for completing the weekly cashflow which is a critical part of finance and the business.

The Role

Ecosurety are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead and optimise our financial operations, across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), payroll, and reporting. This role will be critical in ensuring the effective management of financial transactions, adherence to financial controls, and continuous improvement of processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the day-to-day transactions of finance (AR/AP), implementing process improvement, ensuring strong financial controls in place and acting as reviewer and approver on these processes.
  • Accountable for the weekly cashflow reporting; identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
  • Responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns, ensuring returns and payments are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for audits, on all finance transactional questions.
  • Own and oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance through a 3rd party provider, as well as managing pension arrangements and completion of P11Ds and PSA calculations.
  • Support the scoping, selection, and integration of a new finance system, with successful implementation targeted by the end of 2025.

About You

Either qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience, you will bring proven experience in a finance management role, with a strong focus on AR, AP and payroll processes. With a solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management, we would like to see evidence of strong commercial awareness and the ability to see wider impact of decisions across the business.
