As finance manager you will be part of a team whereby you are managing the month-end processes, line managing the team and working closely with the Head of Finance. Description

As Finance Manager, you will line manage 3 experienced transactional team members, as well as:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly and that the team feel supported should they have queries.
  • Manage the month-end closing processes as well as being responsible for audit during year-end.
  • Ensure accurate ledgers i.e. accurate debtor processes and timely payments.
  • Responsible for all annual financial compliance activities.
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports to meet relevant requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making alongside the Finance Director.
  • Ensure that the finance team's work directly supports the success of the business and drives financial efficiency.
  • Oversee the expenses process.
  • Implement continuous improvement measures to improve the efficiency of both ledgers.
  • Ad hoc project work.

Profile

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in all-round management accounts
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using accounting systems such as Sage 50, SAP, XERO or Oracle
  • A proactive and "can-do" approach
  • Experience within professional services (desirable)
