As finance manager you will be part of a team whereby you are managing the month-end processes, line managing the team and working closely with the Head of Finance. Description
As Finance Manager, you will line manage 3 experienced transactional team members, as well as:
- Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly and that the team feel supported should they have queries.
- Manage the month-end closing processes as well as being responsible for audit during year-end.
- Ensure accurate ledgers i.e. accurate debtor processes and timely payments.
- Responsible for all annual financial compliance activities.
- Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports to meet relevant requirements.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making alongside the Finance Director.
- Ensure that the finance team's work directly supports the success of the business and drives financial efficiency.
- Oversee the expenses process.
- Implement continuous improvement measures to improve the efficiency of both ledgers.
- Ad hoc project work.
Profile
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in all-round management accounts
- Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using accounting systems such as Sage 50, SAP, XERO or Oracle
- A proactive and "can-do" approach
- Experience within professional services (desirable)
